“Radiologic Technology? What is that?”
This is a common reaction I hear whenever I mention my chosen program. Among the many courses available, the Radiologic Technology program is one that is commonly unrecognized and given little attention despite its significance in healthcare. For me, however, the decision to pursue this course is clear. My passion and ambition for working in the medical field, along with my family’s recommendation and my interest in physics and biology, led me to choose Radiologic Technology.
From a young age, I have always been intrigued by the medical field. As I grew older, I was determined to pursue a career in medicine because I was amazed by the complexities of medical science and motivated by my passion for helping others. However, I initially did not have a clear idea of what specific path to choose.
That is when my father suggested Radiologic Technology. With his experience working closely with professional radiologic technologists due to his profession, he saw it as a great career with countless opportunities, which led him to encourage me to consider the program. His suggestion and guidance helped me consider Radiologic Technology among the other choices, seeing it as a career that aligns with my strengths and interests.
Additionally, during my senior high school, I discovered a love for physics and biology, which also played a significant role in my decision-making. Realizing that Radiologic Technology combines these interests, I saw the program as an exciting learning opportunity where I could grow my academic knowledge and develop my future professional skills while pursuing something I enjoy.
Choosing Radiologic Technology allowed me to combine my childhood aspirations, my family’s recommendation, and my interest in natural sciences into one fulfilling career path. This program aligns with my passion and interests, and I believe that I will enjoy learning in this field.
As I begin my journey as a Radiologic Technology student, I am eager to learn and grow in this exciting yet meaningful program.
