On June 29, 2024, just three days after the official start of the school year 2024-2025, the Radiologic Technology Student Society (RTSS) received an invitation for an international collaboration. The Nigerian Association of Radiography Students (NARS) extended an invitation to RTSS for a virtual Students' Parliament Interactive Session.

The session was conducted via Zoom, starting at 5:00 PM Philippine time and concluding at 7:00 PM. Despite the seven-hour time difference between the Philippines and Nigeria, both organizations showcased equal enthusiasm and energy throughout the meeting.

This collaboration provided an enlightening exchange of insights, fostering mutual understanding and deeper knowledge about radiologic technology education in the Philippines and Nigeria. The two-hour discussion highlighted similarities and differences in the field across the two countries.

During the session, student leaders exchanged questions and perspectives on various topics. Key points included the demand for radiologic technology professionals in each country, the number of institutions offering the program, and the volume of students pursuing the course.

This collaborative effort underscored the value of international engagement among student organizations, paving the way for further exchanges of ideas and partnerships in the future. Both RTSS and NARS expressed optimism about continuing their shared pursuit of excellence in radiologic technology education.
